Meet the Owners
Officially opened as a Senior Living Park in 1968, Green Acres has been a family affair since the beginning. What started as a homestead love story between Elmer and his wife Vera, has since bloomed into the wonderful company of residents today. Bought by Elmer in the late 1950s his original plan was to build a home for his growing family. From a 38-acre family farm with chickens, cattle, and horses to a thriving campground for the 1960s World’s Fair attendees, this land has continuously provided comfort, friendship, and community to the area.
